SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review & analysis of customers’ specification, Automation offer, clarifications, final purchase order and other documents provided by the customer for design & engineering work
- Prepare documents for comments & approval such as System Description / Functional Specification, System Architecture, input/output
- List, Internal Validation Procedure, FAT Procedure, etc. Optimization of Protection & control schemes using latest state of art numerical
- Gate reviews with Software Manager & Project Engineer.
- Configuration, integration & internal validation of System Solution as per customer specification and approved documents
- Maintain effective storage/filling/retrieval system for project documents, project software/database/configuration, correspondence and drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot the problems faced during execution
- Ability to work as a Team
- Troubleshooting, testing & commissioning at site
- Support to software manager and project engineer for discussion and clarification with the customer
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time
- On Time Delivery of the Documents / Project
- Completion of the activities as per the budgeted mandays

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Substation Automation
- Advance knowledge on Substation, Digital Communication systems, and Protection Systems
Primary/Secondary Design Engineer
Job Purpose
- To carry out engineering designs in the primary plant discipline for transmission and distribution projects and tenders in accordance with the project specifications, agreed timeframes and Company Management Systems.
- To carry out factory and site testing to validate correct implementation of these designs.
Minimum Requirements
- University Degree Engineer in the field of electrical or having competency in electro-mechanical technique in T&D Sector such as HV Substation with type of Conventional Control system or substation control system (DCS)
- 3 to 5 years experience
- Good knowledge on the Power Grid, HV Substation design, UGC/OHL
- Experience in design process & management, echo-design concept, QEHS aspect
- Familiar with design norms, standards, design procedures and design tools.
- Computer literacy in MS. Office, CAD software such as AutoCAD, Engineering Software and Micro Station
SCADA / RTU ENGINEER
PURPOSE
- The role of the SCADA Engineer is, under the Software Project Manager responsibility, to design and deliver subsets of a given SCADA / EMS / DMS / E-terra Control / RTU project.
- Participates in tender, in charge of the solution design and man-days estimate.
- Provide client acceptance of the work completed by AREVA during detailed design, manufacturing and configuration, Factory Acceptance Tests, System Integration Tests, and the Site Acceptance Test. Assist with the systems' pre-commissioning activities as required on site
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education / Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (fresh graduates are welcome to apply for contract position)
- Minimum 4 years experience in SCADA, RTU, Real Time SCADA database
- Permanent and contract position available
- Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl. exposure & awareness)
- Good knowledge of Information Systems
- Good knowledge of Energy Management Systems and utilities is a clear advantage
Specific knowledge
- Good experience in SCADA EMS/DMS, RTU, Field Communication, Standard Electrical Protocol knowledge, Site commissioning experience
- SCADA S/W testing knowledge, Identifying the bugs, report generation, Punch list follow-up and closing etc.
- Capable to perform technical presentation to the customer and technical training
- Experience in tender technical specification, technical proposal, and tender cost estimation
