PT Bank Commonwealth ("Commonwealth Bank") is a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia ("CBA"). CBA initially made its presence in Indonesia by opening a representative office in 1990.
In 1997, a joint venture bank, namely PT BII Commonwealth, was established to provide corporate banking services to the Indonesian business entities and other businesses. In 2000, PT BII Commonwealth changed its name to PT Bank Commonwealth, where CBA Group becomes the majority shareholder.
At the end of 2007, PTBC acquired ownership of Bank ANK (83%), as part of a strategy to strengthen its market position in East Java.
PTBC now has 78 branches in 26 major cities in Indonesia, and will continue to grow in line with its business strategy and focus on developing a comprehensive retail banking services, including loan products, deposits, mutual funds insurance and investments. PTBC operates more than 100 ATMs and will continue to grow in the future. PTBC is also incorporated in the largest ATM network in Indonesia, namely ATM Bersama and BCA/PRIMA to provide easier access with more than 34 000 ATMs across Indonesia.
PTBC also offers the convenience of shopping through a network of cooperation with debit BCA / PRIMA, so that the Commonwealth Bank ATM card can be used as a debit card at more than 80,000 merchants in Indonesia.
In terms of customer services, PTBC is a bank with the Best Customer Service among all foreign banks in Indonesia for five consecutive years (based on independent research agency Synovate).
PTBC is rated AAA (National Long-term rating) with a stable outlook from Fitch Ratings, which is a form of recognition of PTBC’s achievement and reflects a very strong financial support from the parent company of PTBC, CBA Group, where Indonesia is one of the main focus of business outside of Australia CBA and New Zealand.
Treasury Operations Officer
Main Responsibilities:
Consistently able to supervise all treasury transactions (FX, MM, fixed income and other types of related transactions) across the division and process them using the best alternative solution, which is done as soon as possible after the complete document is received.

- Minimum education Bachelor (S1) from the Department of Banking, Economics or Finance from reputable University.
- Minimum two years experience in banking operations division (especially those who have at least one year treasury transaction processing)
- Having experience in the process of fixed income transactions are preferred.
- Having a broad knowledge of all treasury products
- Having a strong analytical ability and skills in conceptualizing
- Proactive, full of initiative, have high integrity, a focus on risk and attention to detail

Head of Process Improvement
Key responsibility:
To build the Operations Division to have an organizational capability for process improvement by delivering transformational process performance creating mindsets, behaviours, competencies and tools that enable delivery of lasting outcomes to customers and shareholders. To achieve service, revenue and cost improvements in alignment with the bank’s strategy. The services must be achieved by managing people, process, technology and culture in an effective, innovative and cost efficient manner with full adherence to all applicable policies and regulations whilst giving consideration to all risk factors.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Economic or Finance from reputable university.
- Minimum ten years of banking operation experience, with multiple operations stream.
- Have experience handling project and developing policy procedure in Operations Divison
- Have experience in handling risk, control awareness, and compliance requirement through out the Bank Operation Division
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Proactive, full of initiative, highly integrity, risk focus and attention to details

Cash Management Officer
Key responsibility:
- Coordinate all branch (Head Teller/Teller) in managing long or short cash in branch.
- Ensure cash availability in any offsite branch ATM and monitoring cash in any ATM for transaction.
- Acting as contact point for Bank Indonesia and vendor regarding cash management.
- Gathering reconciliation report from branches and process vendor invoice.
- Identifying, escalating risks involve in cash management service operational. Plan and execute risk-mitigating procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree majoring in Banking, Economic or Finance from reputable university.
- Minimum four years of banking operation experience (preferably in the area of retail banking)and one year of managerial role.
- Have a good analytical skill include forecasting to increase the capacity for the bank in acquiring cash and send out the cash in the market and also for internal and BI reporting.
