PT Golden Energy Mines (GEMS) is the holding company of 10 coal concessions across approximately 57,000 hectares in Indonesia, including among others, CCOW Borneo Indobara (BIB) and IUP Kuansing Intimakmur (KIM).GEMS has 1.2 billion tons of JORC resources and over 400 million tons JORC reserves. The mines are located in Riau, Jambi, South Sumatera, Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan. GEMS also procures coal from external sources to feed large (5 million ton consumption) pulp and paper mills and for exports.

GEMS production capacity is near 10 million tons in 2011, with actual production in previous years at around 3 million tons. GEMS coal is mainly 4200 kcal/kg (GAR), 4800 kcal/kg (GAR) and 5300 kcal/kg (GAR). Current export markets are to China, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh. GEMS exports coal through coal terminals located in Bunati Sungai Danau (South Kalimantan) and (Teluk Bayur Padang), which have 5 million and 3 million tons capacities respectively. Production is expected to ramp up to 15 million tons by 2014. Stake Out/Resurvey
(Jambi, Kalimantan Selatan, Kalimantan Tengah)

Requirements:

  • Male, max. 35 years old
  • Minimum STM Geodetic/Survey
  • Having minimum 3 years experience as surveyor on mining industry
  • Knowledge of mine planning and survey related software
  • English min. passive
  • Willing to work at mine site


Industrial Relations / External Relations Section Head Site 
(Jakarta Raya, Jambi, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan)
Responsibilities:

  • Providing consultation and counseling services for employees in need, especially at site 
  • To review, develop, revise and to create SOP and WI are associated with ER / IR employee 
  • Direct and motivate each individual employee for supporting the company's policy 
  • Being a mediator between the company and its employees in case of difference of opinion about the regulation of companies that apply 
  • Creating reciprocal communication with a means of communication in the form of brainstorming to deliver opinions on the organization's employees 


Requirements:

  • Male, Age between 35 Years s.d. 45 Year 
  • Minimum education S1 Law / Psychology / Management 
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the field of Industrial Relations / External Relations 
  • Understanding the Law no. 13, 2003 on Labor 
  • Understanding the Law no. 2, 2004 on Industrial Relations Dispute Resolution 
  • Mastering coaching and counseling techniques 
  • Mastering the technique of problem analysis 
  • Experience negotiating and PKB / care workers


Community & External Relation Department Head
(Kalimantan Selatan)
Requirements:

  • Minimum S1 degree in Social, Communication or law
  • Having at least 7 years experience in related activities with minimum 3 year in managerial level
  • Possess good leadership and managerial skills and able to perform and work as a team
  • Possess good knowledge in mining safety and environmental regulation and able to deal with internal and external issues associated with mining operations
  • Possess good ability to attract, develop and maintain good relationship with local communities surrounding mine area through regular visit and development projects
  • Possess good ability to face and handle demonstration/road blockage by community through elegant approach to the crowd and its leaders in order to find out the issue and the root of case.
  • Possess strong capability to develop and maintain communication and relationship with local and regional authorities.
  • High integrity, dedicated and team work oriented.
  • Willingness to work in south Kalimantan


Land Compensation Section Head
(Kalimantan Selatan)
Responsibilities:

  • To handle land compensation matters as per company and government policies in consultation with manager administration and government departments
  • To provide best solution for company in land compensation matters, including but not limited to:
  • Survey and verifying areas involving land compensation claims.
  • Plan and carry out a systematic process to inventory issues, party related, financial implication, and risk encountered in resolving land compensation in the identified areas.
  • All process fulfils procedures and administrative requirements for the land compensation.
  • Maintain good administration system such correspondences, documentation, filling, contract / agreement and reporting in relation with the land compensation process.


Requirements:

  • Minimum S1 Degree from Social, Communication or related major
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience as Land Compensation, preferably have experience in coal mining industry
  • Excellent influencing skills with proven experience of working with senior management; demonstrating excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Well networked within government, and good understanding of local communities
  • Strong on negotiation & leadership skills
  • Ready to be placed in South Kalimantan


Regional Investment Department Head
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:

  • Formulate strategic plans, perform financial analysis of prospective target portfolios for acquisition, divestment, joint venture & merger and eventually see through the execution of the plans.
  • Gather coal business data and any related sources and analyze those data into information database and also presentation.
  • Indentify investment opportunity and/or existing asset acquisition in strategic plan
  • Conduct detailed feasibility study and financial model for project analysis and acquisition, perform scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Recommend or suggest for decision making based on analysis result and economic implication
  • Support due diligence matters, consultants coordination, commercial negotiation and investing proposal development


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or MBA from any reputable university
  • Has Engineer background would be advantage
  • Experiences in related field min 7 year
  • Energetic and Good Interpersonal Skill
  • Familiar with MS Project would be advantage
  • Willing to travel


Trading Sourcing Supervisor
(Jakarta Raya)
Requirements:

  • Minimum S1 in Marketing or Management or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00
  • More than 3 years of working experience in coal trading business
  • Fluent in English, Good interpersonal skills, energetic and creative
  • Computer literate (Windows, Office, email & internet)
  • Result oriented with strong initiative and excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Open minded and willing to learn new things
