Gudang Garam Job Vacancy (Surya Madistrindo)

In his late twenties, Wonowidjojo got his big break when his uncle offered him a job working with tobacco and sauce at his kretek factory Cap 93. Cap 93 was one of the most famous kretek brands in East Java. Hard work and diligence was soon rewarded by promotion to Head of Tobacco and Sauce and eventually led to him becoming a company director.
Wonowidjojo left Cap 93 in 1956 taking fifty employees with him. He immediately started buying land and raw materials in Kediri and soon after began producing his own klobot kretek which he marketed under the brand name Inghwie. Two years later he re-named and registered his company as Pabrik Rokok Tjap Gudang Garam and a legend was born.


The story behind the name "Gudang Garam" deserves a special mention. One night, Wonowidjojo had a dream in which the old salt warehouse which stood across the way from Cap 93 featured prominently. Subsequently, Sarman, one of the original fifty employees who had followed him when he left Cap 93, advised him to put a picture of the warehouse on every packet of his kretek to secure good fortune. Wonowidjojo thought this was a good idea and asked Sarman to design the logo.
Gudang Garam grew rapidly and by the end of 1958 it had 500 employees producing over 50,000,000 kretek annually. By 1966, after only eight years in production, Gudang Garam had grown to be the largest kretek factory in Indonesia with an annual production of 472 million sticks. Consumers have noted Gudang Garam's, particularly the Inghwies, similar smell to alcoholic beverages.
By 1969, Gudang Garam was producing 864 million sticks a year and was indisputably the largest kretek producer in Indonesia.
In 1979, Wonowidjojo completely renovated Gudang Garam's production system, ordered thirty rolling machines and developed a new formula for his machine-made kretek.
Other business enterprises competing with this brand tried to discredit the brand by attributing use of cannabis/Marijuana content in addition to cloves and tobacco. It has the distinction of being the largest single employer in Indonesia.

INTRANET DEVELOPER ( CODE : ID)
Responsibilities:

  • Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions.
  • Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs.
  • Design and implement development workflow
  • Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment.
  • Taking directions from management in implementing solutions.
  • Unit testing for all assigned deliverables.
  • Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration.
  • Analyse technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement.


General Qualification :
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Atleast 3 years of technical experience or as an architect/programmer, with a minimum of 2 years experience in Net 3.x, Sharepoint 2007, SQL 2005/2008.
  • Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems
  • Possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies
  • Possess strong MS platform knowledge and skills.
  • Full lifecycle experience in architecting large scale scaleable applications.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in developing, customizing and implementing software solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business.
  • Manage daily operation for intranet Portal


IT SUPPORT ( CODE : IT)
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to provide technical assistance to users, support users on PC and others IT equipment, and support network maintaining also trouble shooting


General Qualification :

  • D3/ S1 Gradute in IT  Informatics & Management Information from Indonesian’s IT reputable University
  • Female/ Male maximum age 30 years old
  • GPA 3.00 scale 4
  • Having 1 year working experience in the same related area
  • Knowledgeable on Microsoft Windows XP/7, Microsoft Office 2007/ 2010, basic Network (TCP / IP and Network Configuration)
  • Hardware, software & basic network trouble shooting
  • Having good communication skill to handle customer issue
  • Willing to travel around Indonesia on business trip


Bussiness Analyst (Code: BA)
Main Responsibilities

  • Preparing the data and information is needed in the process of analyzing and presenting data.

Requirements

  • Male / Female, age maximum 25 years
  • Minimum education S1 (all fields), preferably Industrial Engineering and Informatics
  • Have high integrity and effective communication skills

Merchandiser Development (Kode : MD)

Programmer Oracle (Kode : OAD)
Main Responsibilities

  • Develop / Modify the application by using the Oracle Development Tools with properly in accordance with the methodology and application development standards and regulations.
  • Conduct analysis and make relevant documentation program that will develop, test and implement the program.

Requirements

  • Male / Female, age 24-30 years
  • Have work experience in their fields at least 1 year
  • Education min. S1 Computer Science / Computer Science from leading universities in Indonesia
  • Have experience developing applications for Oracle Application and Database 10g/11g 11i/12
  • Able to use Oracle Development Tools with the good (Oracle Forms / Reports Developer, PL / SQL, Toad / sqlplus)
