PT XL Axiata Tbk. ('XL') was established on 8 October 1989, under the name PT Grahametropolitan Lestari. Its main business was in trading and general services.

Six years later, XL took an important step by setting up a partnership with Rajawali Group -a shareholder of PT Grahametropolitan Lestari - and three foreign investors
(NYNEX, AIF and Mitsui). Its name was changed to PT Excelcomindo Pratama, with the provisioning of basic telephony services as its core business.

XL commenced commercial operations in 1996, primarily covering Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya areas. This made XL the first private company in Indonesia to provide
cellular mobile telephony services.

XL is now leading the industry as a cellular telecommunications provider with extensive coverage throughout Indonesia. It provides services for retail customers
and offers business solutions for corporate customers, including voice, data and other value-added mobile telecommunications services. XL operates its network with
GSM 900/DCS 1800 and IMT-2000/3G technologies. XL also holds a Closed Regular Network License, Internet Service Provider (ISP) License, Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) License, and Internet Interconnection Services License (NAP).

Strategic Vendor Partnership, a new strategic unit under Strategic Partnership and Procurement Division (formerly Procurement and Logistic), is developed mainly to drive alignment between XL and strategic partners/major vendors in order to build, maintain, and enhance stronger and more beneficial relationships; and also to constantly create value out of the partnership.

Currently, we are fulfilling the resource who will act as partner to top level management in managing strategic partnership.

Successful candidates will work in a result oriented and dynamic environment. English proficiency and computer literacy are required for this position.

Analyst - Enterprise Data Warehouse
Jakarta Raya,

  • Establish EDW database from various data sources to enable EDW system as centralized and integrated repository for company
  • Develop and analyze ETL (Extract Transform Loader)/script/program and its enhancement to support data enquires from all related departments in company
  • Identify and analyze problem related with data quality, discrepancies, anomalies, trending to ensure accuracy and completeness data delivered
  • Analyze daily BOD (Board of Director) reports to ensure its validity
  • Identify and gather data sources to enable data profiling and insight generation for business
  • Analyze data requirements and specifications from users and enhance the logic to ensure all requirements comprehensively captured and developed in optimized method


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • Minimum 3 years work experience IT or telecommunication, preferably in data warehouse
  • Preferably has 2 years experience in Application/ETL/Database development or programming
  • Good knowledge in Oracle database, Oracle PL /SQL and SQL concept
  • Good knowledge in UNIX shell scripting, ETL/application programming
  • Good knowledge and exposure to Enterprise DBMS preferably Teradata and Oracle
  • Good understanding of data warehouse concept
  • Basic project management knowledge

AM Mobile Data Services
Jakarta Raya,

  • Operating MDS Sales and Distribution activities to achieve target revenue, active subscriber and Blackberry/Internet package’s new joiner
  • Maintain good and close relationship with relevant external partners including traditional & non-traditional dealers
  • Manage Canvasser Performance and development through training, monitoring, review of canvasser performance plan and progress assessment
  • Develop knowledge of Retail Outlet Front liner for XL MDS Product through regular visit and training
  • Managing Cost Effective of A&P budget spending acquisition, promotion, campaign
  • Control MDS sales operation in the area with close coordination with RSOM and AM through reviewing daily report
  • Monitoring and improving visibility of SP Internet/Blackberry and MDS Branding in the area


  • S1 with 1-2 years in supervisory position

Specialist - Regional Marketing (Jabodetabek)

  • Prepare information and take initiative to achieve deeper understanding about industry competition situation update as basic to formulate regional marketing strategies
  • Prepare information and take initiative about customer behavior regarding product and program feedback, consumption insight and pattern as basic to formulate regional marketing strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing regional program to get learning and improvement for marketing activities onward
  • Develop marketing new initiatives to support regional Jabodetabek achievement in innovative ways
  • Provide updates about XL new programs to speed up Regional Jabodetabek Stakeholder understanding and effectively creating action plan
