W Plantation (BWPT) is an Indonesian oil palm plantation company with primary business activities in developing, cultivating, and harvesting Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) as well as extracting Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel from FFB. The company manages seven plantations, four of which are located in Central Kalimantan, two are located in West Kalimantan and one located in East Kalimantan.
The Company managed total land bank of about 96,149 hectares (including plasma area), 48% of which or 46,048 hectares has been planted. Around 33% or 15,270 hectares has reached a matured stage with impressive yields. BWPT also operates two palm oil mills with the total throughput capacity of 105 tonnes of FFB per hour. BWPT currently has one bulking facility along Cempaga river and a jetty at Sei Rimbang to facilitate efficient delivery of product.
The Company listed its shares at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on October 27, 2009.
We manage seven oil palm plantation located in Kalimantan. Two of which are currently being planted and under cultivation, three of which have a majority of land that has been planted and a majority of matured trees and two of which are currently unplanted. Total area reaches around 93,000 hectares, of which approximately 42,000 hectares are under Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) certificate and the rest is on going process to be HGU certificates. As of December 2010 total planted area was around 52,060 hectares with 93% is nucleus. Total matured area is approximately 15,270 hectares with early prime age palms of 9.8 years old.
