Responsibilities:
- To administer the contractual and commercial requirements and obligation of the Company and subcontractors and provide input and support to the project team with the objective of minimizing cost and maximazing financial recovery.
- To ensure timely re-measurement of drawings by subcontractors in order to effectively assess the project's cost liability
- To ensure immediate response to correspondence received from subcontractors in order to protect the Company's position at all times
- To produce and maintain month end cost-to-date and forecast costs for subcontractors in order to accurately report the project cost status
- To control and monitor subcontractor variations, payment-applications, back charges, etc in order to maintain accurate financial status of their accounts
- To update monthly progress data in order to ensure project payment applications to client are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 year experiences working as Quantity Surveyor in main civil contractor
- Ability to do the take offs
- Good knowledge of design drawings and Microsoft applications
- Willing to travel to project
