The Company operates six concession areas. Five are located in East Kalimantan province while one is in the border of East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan province. The total concession area of the Company is 87,565 hectares.

As of December 31 December 2009, it is estimated the total coal resource of the Company is 1,650 million tons, while the total reserves 294 million tons.


PT Trubaindo Coal Mining’s concession area of 23,650 hectares with reserves and resources of sub-bituminous coal in two blocks: the North Block and newly opened South Block in the ampunt of 78.27 mt and 296.50 mt, respectively, at the end of 2009. The sub-bituminous coal has calorific value ranging from 6,500 to 7,300 kcal/kg and sulfur content of 0.8-1.4%. The coal is trucked north from mine stockyard 38 kilometres to the Bunyut Barge loader on the Mahakam River, and is barged to the BoCT or directly to market. Production in 2009 was 5.2 mt up from 4.5 mt in 2008.

With the recent opening of the South Block and development of PT Bharinto Ekatama’s project, the major infrastructure projects involve the construction of a hauling road, bridge and a washing plant usable by both mines.

Merak, Banten (ANTARA News) - PT Indonesia Ferry has put 25 roll-on-roll off boats into service to overcome a long line of trucks waiting to be ferried from Java to Sumatra at Merak port in Banten province.

In 1973, PT Indonesia Ferry (Persero) project named ASD Ferry and then turns into Perum ASDP in 1986 and subsequently in 1993 to PT ASDP (Persero). Shift of the status of a Limited Liability Company ASDP Perum mean that the pattern of his efforts are expected to compete with private companies or business entities other countries without leaving its function as a provider of pioneering crossing.

On August 5, 2008, witnessed by the Deputy Head of Business Logistics and Tourism Ministry of State Enterprises and Vice Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission, PT Indonesia Ferry (Limited) signed an Integrity Pact implementation of structural changes that marked the beginning of a change the company name and logo of PT ASDP Indonesian Ferry (Limited) to PT Indonesia Ferry (Persero), redefinition of the vision and mission, affirmation main business, supporting business creation, revitalization and investment production equipment, the total restructuring and strategic business plan. All these are part of the implementation of business transformation program that is expected to change the position of PT Indonesia Ferry (Limited) became state-owned enterprises that can contribute to the country. "PT ASDP in Merak today operates 24 roros with the hope it could minimize queueing," operations manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Merak Branch, Zailis Anas, said here on Saturday.

A driver, Romi, said the queueing must be overcome immediately by the transportation ministry. "It has been very serious. The government must overcome this problem immediately," he said.

HUTAMA KARYA (PERSERO) furthermore will be addressed as PTHK, was initially a Dutch Indies private company called “Hollandsche Beton Maatshappij” before being nationalized or owned by Indonesian’s government in 1961, based on Government Regulation of Republic of Indonesia Number 61/1961 at the date of March 29th 1961 with the name PN. HUTAMA KARYA. Also, based on Decree of Directors and Commisioners Number DU/MK.136/KPTS/03/2009 at the date of January 29th 2009 about the decision of The Anniversary of Hutama Karya, March 29th was sets as The Anniversary of HUtama Karya.

The company’s status change into Perseoran Terbatas (PT) based on Government Regulation Number 14, Year 1971, Leg. Certificate of Limited Company Number 74 at the date of March 15th 1973, Leg. Certificate of Change Number 48 at the date of August 8th 1973, where both were made in the presence of Notary Public, Kartini Mulyadi, SH.

It has been a transformational milestone for Hutama Karya from being a private company ‘Hollandsche Beton Maatshappij’ into PN. HUTAMA KARYA. Since this transformational phase, Hutama Karya has produced numerous historical-valued of constructional work, such as Pancoran Monument, Indonesia Legislative Assembly Building (Gedung DPR/MPR RI). In this phase also, Prof. DR. Ir. Sutami was set as Founding Father of Hutama Karya since his service and dedication in his era, on developing the company with various grandiose opus.
This remark the beginning of Pre-Pressed Concrete Technology (teknologi Beton Pra-Tekan) in Indonesia, where Hutama Karya already introduced BBRV Pre-Tight System (Sistem Pra-Tegang) from Swiss. As a manifestation of existence toward this technology, Hutama Karya then formed special division for Pre-Tight. Also in this decade, Hutama Karya has changed its status into Hutama Karya Ltd (Limited) or PT. Hutama Karya (Persero).

It’s a pole-making factory for public road lighting with various type ranging into octagonal steel. PT.
