AVP Portfolio Risk & Policy
(Code: AVP PR & P - RISK 11)

Responsibility:

  • The job holder is responsible for managing the portfolio for all consumer lending products through the development of risk strategies that balances the bank's risk appetite and business needs for continuous profitability and growth. To do this effectively, the job holder must have a strong knowledge of the consumer credit products and credit process, along with excellent communication skills to liaise with various related parties. In addition, a proven leadership skills is required as part of the role for to manage a team. S/he will review and monitor the existing portfolio performance and propose enhancements of portfolio management credit policies for existing customers, translate risk strategies into sound credit policies, as well as maintain HSBC internal control standard and compliance to prevailing policies and regulations


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years banking experience with knowledge of consumer assets products such as Credit Cards and Consumer Loan.
  • Preferably with 3 years experience in Consumer Banking Risk Management area.
  • Proven leadership experience with a team
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication in both spoken and written English.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.



Officer Collection Analytics

Responsibility:

  • The job incumbent is responsible for providing the regular CCR Collection MI reports and ad hoc analysis to support the management to minimize delinquencies and credit losses through all internal collection activities, performances and processes MI report analysis in order to control compliance, collection strategies and quality of service.


Requirements:

  • Expertise in MI system (SAS EG, SAS base, Access, Excel, knowledge in SQL is preferable)
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Understanding of consumer loan business and collection process.
  • Hands on experience with reporting applications and data structure logic
  • Ability to work through details and complex statistics


AVP Risk Analysis Unit
(Code : AVP RAU CMB - CBA 11)

Responsibility:

  • The jobholder is responsible to provide sound credit risk analysis of the corporate and investment banking clients within the agreed time frame and to reduce potential loss to the bank.


Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum bachelor degree from reputable university majoring in Accounting / Finance
  • Has minimum 6-8 years relevant experience in Financial / Banking institution
  • Possess strong credit risk skills and good knowledge of corporate banking, investments and / or trade products and ability to interpret meaningful information from financial accounts.
  • Has standard knowledge of credit application process in corporate banking
  • Possess good knowledge on economic indicators and awareness on industry sectors
  • Ability to maintain good quality of output under pressure condition and tight deadline, and ability to maintain a high level of intense concentration for a prolonged period
  • Good interpersonal skills to ensure harmonious working relationship with customers as well as within the Bank
  • Demonstrate high degree of integrity
