Geology & Exploration Manager
Kalimantan Selatan - Tanjung, Tabalong
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the department budget on an annual basis and monitor the performance of the department to ensure operation is within budget guidelines
  • Develop and implement drilling programs for exploration, infill and geotechnical drilling to meet the agreed target
  • To negotiate contracts with drilling companies and other service providers to obtain the most reasonable price and ensure contractors operate within the Company’s operating and safety guidelines
  • To collect and collate all available information for the regular updating of the geological models of the various coal resources in the concession area to provide a coal model for the planning department, updated as necessary
  • To collate date required for the preparation of the annual resources statement that also serves as a basis for making management decision
  • To monitor the quality of coal being produced, liaise with marketing and sales regarding coal quality issues and provide guidance to operations regarding the effective mining of coal to ensure both adequate quality and mining recovery.
  • To produce coal recovery reconciliations on a quarterly basis to compensate for any quality issues
  • To analyze and respond on audit finding by providing professional recommendation in TSD area for modifications and improvement to systems and procedures in mining operation to meet mining SHE standard requirement
  • To provide geotechnical engineering services to the planning and operations departments, install monitoring systems and instrumentation to collect information regarding the stability of the pit walls, and advice planning and operations on geotechnical matters to ensure safety
  • To maintain a database for all information pertinent to geotechnical planning as a basis for sound and safe planning and operation


Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in exploration and mine geology, with significant time in a supervisory role
  • Willing to be located in South Kalimantan (Tanjung, Tabalong)

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Accounting with minumum GPA 3.00 of 4.00
  • Having 1-2 years experiences in similar position (preferably from mining & energy industry)

Basic Competency Development Program

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates Development Programs for all existing employees focusing on Profesional Competencies.
  • Ensuring all profrssional competency development program for existing employees are developed & implemented as scheduled in training plan for all programs (technical and non technical skills) and for all Adaro sites.


Requirements:

  • S1 Management / Business Administration / Engineering (Mining/ Mechanical/Electrical/Geology/Geotech/Industrial).
  • S2 is a plus
  • Min. 2 years experience in training & development area would be a plus
  • Min. 1 year in supervisory role (mining or engineering industry is an advantage)
  • Curriculum development particularly on professional competency
  • Critical to be able to communicate well with all parties
  • Able to supervise a number of programs/projects at the same time
  • Able to recommend the right training and how to schedule
  • Able to deliver training
  • Able to develop leadership competency training curriculum is a plus


Graduate Development Program Supervisor

  • Work with Admin Support Superintendent to develop document & knowledge management
  • Support in developing curriculum for graduate development program if needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Engineering (Mining/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Geology/ Geotech) or Bachelor Degree (S1) in Management/ Business Administration/ Accounting
  • Minimum 1 year in administering or coordinating a development program
  • Minimum 1 year experience in engineering work would be an advantage
  • Minimum 1 year experience in training and development area is a plus
  • Some exposure in Program Curriculum Development
  • Able to administer or coordinate program
  • Able to supervise a team of program counsellors
